This was at a gym well known for celebrity spotting, so it's where lazy paparazzi like me would go on a slow day. Wait an hour, you're bound to see someone. We asked Jack to show off some moves, and he kindly demonstrated this awesome jump-kick... all while holding onto his smoothie!

 

This was at the same gym a few months later. This time I was the only pap there, so I kept a respectable distance. Love that Ghostbusters/Pac-Man tee shirt.

Happy Birthday Ray Park!

I got to chat with Darth Maul himself, Ray Park, at LAX one time in 2018, and he was super friendly. He talked with me about Star Wars stuff for about five full minutes. Then he made a direct plea to my camera, directed at the powers that be, that he'd love to reprise the role of Maul again (this was after his cameo in 'Solo') and also the role of Snake Eyes in 'G.I. Joe'.

 

I'm still crossing my fingers for 'Solo 2'... and what ever happened to the Lando show?

Happy Birthday Ty Burrell!

In honor of Ty's birthday, it seemed like a good time to revisit one of the most fun film premieres I ever got to cover back in 2014. I know it's not the original puppets or puppeteers, but seeing the actual Muppets "alive" on the red carpet was more exciting than half of the events I ever shot. 

 

Kermit The Frog and Miss Piggy arrived in their own SUV limo. There were speakers in the cars, so we were actually interacting with them. It was surreal.

Rowlf was driving the car with Fozzie riding shotgun, and more muppets, Gonzo, Scooter, and Animal, popping up out of the sunroof.
