I know I am paparazzi scum for this one, but what do you do when you spot your #1 idol from childhood in a magazine moment, and your job depends on capturing this kind of stuff? This was my best exclusive set to date at that point. A pap can't hope for a much better shot than this. I was just out "fishing" on the west side of L.A. when I spotted Harrison out with his family. I wasn't searching for him nor following him. I just pulled over ahead of them and shot this from my car window. I still feel guilty for it, because I'm sure he wanted to kill me at that exact moment. But all I can say in my defense is that other paps would have followed him and truly ruined his day, while I just snapped a quick burst of shots and went on my way. The fact that I have such an ethical conundrum about this shows that I was never cut out for this type of work. More successful paps wouldn't even bat an eye.
Harrison Ford at the Hollywood Film Awards, Oct 21, 2013. It was great to catch him on the red carpet, because there's no guilt involved when you're credentialed.Actor Ken Jeong arrives at the 2011 NBA All-Star Game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. 2/20/11
